| The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare appoints Valintus - Monday, 2 June 2008 The Commission’s charter is to develop a national strategic framework and associated work program that will guide its efforts in improving safety and quality across the health care system in Australia. The Commission has recently established a number of panels to provide specialist support services that will assist in the delivery of certain elements of the Commission’s ongoing Work Program. Valintus has been appointed to the Commission’s panel for Health Information Systems. |

| AGPN references Valintus and the IMMF - Thursday, 29 May 2008 The Australian General Practice Network recently published a submission to the National eHealth Strategy. This submission sets out the divisions network’s vision for IM progress in Australian general practice and divisions. Valintus and the Information Management Maturity Framework (IMMF) developed by Valintus for the Department of Health and Ageing were referenced in the submission as a positive eHealth initiative to improve the information management capacity and capability of General Practice. |

| Another Federal Win - Wednesday, 30 January 2008 The Department of Health and Ageing has selected Valintus to investigate Data Extraction and Analysis tools that are suitable for use by general practitioners and Divisions of General Practice. The Department’s focus for this project is to directly encourage GPs and Divisions to adopt best practice information management behaviours and systems. Valintus was successful on the basis of its expertise in clinical information systems, evidence-based practice and GP eHealth systems. |
